So it was hard for me to come up with new adventures. My top three right now would be cycling, bungee jumping, and parasailing. But after further thought, I don’t think it’s all about those kinds of adventure. New experiences can also mean moving to a new home, getting married, having a baby, or starting a new business. I am constantly seeking and working towards my next life goal, and maybe that counts too!

I had a difficult time with this one because all of the new experiences I want involve travel. It’s not something I can commit to because of time and money. So I racked my brain for things more simple but found it difficult to find things I could commit to.

I want to go to India, run at least one more marathon, and a few more triathlons. But when I think about India, I think its about putting myself in completely new surroundings, around a completely different culture, and to be stimulated to grow. Then I started thinking that any new interaction with my family, with friends, running a different route can provide a new thought, feeling, or idea. Maybe I don’t need to go all the way to India to have that stimulation. I have to think further about this.

Take a cooking class, write a novel and visit Angel Falls. The cooking class would be easy to schedule, just need to do it. i have tried writing a novel before but having the discipline to do it is another thing. Maybe I could do National Novel Writing Month. Angel Falls would just take a bunch of money. The hardest part of this was coming up with new things. I’ve been really lucky to have been able to try a lot of things that most people only dream of.
